Sacramento Gurmat Center is a forum for dissemination of Gurmat tenets enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the embodiment of Word-Guru. Gurmat is the Guru-centered religious doctrine of the Sikh people.

The Center is dedicated to facilitating learning  Gurbani with understanding, devotion and reverance. It is a platform for exchange of views about Gurmat themes and concepts, and a resource for learning about Gurmat and Gurbani. 

The Center endeavors to seek assistance, cooperation and participation of Sikh scholars, devotees, social organizations, institutions and websites in its objective of promoting understanding of Gurmat.
